Good morning sunny community! I just want to chat about the line of peels I chose by Linder Health!
Born from their commitment to long-term skin health and healthy aging, our chemists have developed peel treatments for all skin types and concerns that aid in kick starting healthy cellular metabolism, optimize skin cell function and provide the same exfoliation and desquamation benefits of traditional peels, with less inflammation.
With very little downtime, you can enjoy peels - and the journey you’ll embark on with your skin - all year round! Linder formulas aid in initiating selective cellular apoptosis, or “programmed cell death,” to eliminate senescent cells. This process breaks down a cell’s contents to be digested by immune cells without causing inflammation.
This allows for more frequent treatments for regular skin maintenance.
In contrast, traditional peel formulas trigger necrosis, a form of cell injury that ruptures a cell’s membrane causing an inflammatory wound response in the skin. The AHA and BHA blends are no more than 30% of the total formula. At these lower concentrations, topical application contributes to cellular apoptosis, triggering microscopic exfoliation without the irritation.
With 3 formulas boosted with targeted ingredients to treat specific conditions, including hexylresorcinol, glycolic acid, tranexamic acid and more, we offer solutions for all skin types and concerns. All three peels are adjusted to stay within the pH sweet spot, 3 - 3.5. This range is low enough to react with the skin’s natural pH of 5.5, while limiting inflammation and irritation.
